At Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) it is denoted that a fine of Rs 1000 is charges from the passengers who are not wearing a mask properly and who are voilating social distancing in any mean.,
"Basis the directive issued by the DGCA, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) will levy a fine on any individual found violating the mandatory Covid-19 safety protocols at the airport with effect from April 1."
In Official notification issued by the Airport Authorities of Mumbai it is mentioned that " fine of Rs 1000 will be issued to individuals who refuse to comply with Covid-19 safety norms such as wearing face masks that cover the nose and mouth and maintaining social distancing amongst others at the airport,"
As the cases are inceasing rapidly in Maharashtra then after DGCA impose these guidelines for Maharashtra and some other states. DGCA advised all airports to maintain the protocals properly during this pendamic of Covid-19, and it is also mentioned by DGCA that during the surveillance at some airports, the visuals are not found satisfactory.
In addition to this regular announcements are also made at airport regarding the safety protocals and some on-ground marshals are also placed for guiding the passengers to follow the safety precutions durng the travel peroid.
According to DGCA, these marshals will penalise the individual who do not follow the safety protocals and also in non-compliance of that, the violater will be given to the airport authorities for further action.
