After the high surge in coronavirus cases in the reign, Canada suspends all passenger flights from India and Pakistan for 30 days.
Canada Transportation Minister Omar Alghabra said all passenger flights will be cancelled to India and Pakistan but all cargo flights will continue to operate as previous capacity.

Omar Alghabra in a tweet said ,"Suspending flights from India and Pakistan to Canada for 30 days will help manage the elevated risk of imported cases of COVID-19 and variants of concern into Canada during a time of increasing pressure on our health care system"
Patty Hajdu Canada Health Minister in interaction with media said that nearly 50% of COVID-19 cases in Canada found in the people who are arriving in Canada by flights from India.
Hajdu added, "It makes sense to pause travel from that region while our scientists and researchers better understand the variants of interest"
