As the surge of Coronavirus is rapidly incresing in India, results to this many of the countries had already cancelled all flights to and from India. Today United Arab Emirates also barred entry of all travellers arriving from India for 10 days from April 25 to May 4, 2021.
Nither Emirates nor any other airline will fly passengers from India to UAE.
Indian can arrive in Dubai only if they have stayed in any other country for 14 days and this rule applies on those also those who have transiting through UAE to any other country.
UAE is the second country who bans the entry of Indian after United Kingdom, because here the cases are increasing with a hike.
Officials in UAE stated, "From 11.59 pm on April 24, no travel shall be allowed on India-Dubai for 10 days till 11.59 pm on May 4. During this period travel from Dubai to India is not effected. Diplomatic/official missions are exempted. UAE nationals stranded in India are allowed to return to UAE. No transit passengers shall be allowed ex-India.Private jets/planes are allowed,"
Before ban Dubai had also tightened the rules for travellers before arriving to the country.
India on Thursday reported over 3.15 lakh coronavirus cases, the highest daily spike in infections the country has recorded outbreak, according to Union Health Ministry. Amid oxygen shortage and faltering health system in the country, India witnessed 2,104 deaths in 24 hours, which is another record for India.
