Jairam Thakur, Cheif Minister of Himachal Pradesh said on sunday April 11, that RT-PCR negative report is mandatory for travellers from April 16 to enter in state.
Thakur said that people coming from 7 states where rate of infection of coronavirus is very high include Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Gujarat, Karnataka and Rajasthan must have to produce Covid-19 negative report not older then 72 hours while entering the state.
Tourists Are Allowed
Jairam Thakur in an interview said that, it is not right to stop the tourists we have issued a guideline to the hotel association in the view of epidemic.
Thakul told to news agency ANI, "Tourism and hotel industry contributes 7 percent in GDP of the state. Around 2 crore tourists come here normally in the season. The businesses had suffered a lot during COVID-19 lockdown"
Many of the states in India have imposed the fresh guidelines as to break the chain of infection in any mean and many have made mandatory for travellers coming from other states to produce the negative RT-PCR report not older then 72 hours while entering the state.
