Australia Announced The Suspension Of All Flights From India Till May 15

As the surge of Covid-19 do not stops in India, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison also announced that all flights from India to Austrlia will remain suspended till May 15, 2021.

In last week's interaction there is a announcement by National Cabinet to cuts all flights from India by 30 percent.

The suspension also includes all repatriation flights from India to Australia. It must be noted that Australia had 8 repatriation flights planned from India to repatriate around 9,000 Australian residents in India wanting to return home. But Australian Government also puts restrictions on these flights.

Morrison further added that via flights through other transit hubs like Doha, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur had been stopped by their respective governments.

Scott Morrison also announced that Australia will send 500 ventilators to India, 1 million surgical masks, 500,000 protective masks, as well as goggles, and face shields. There is a lack of these things in India and many of the countries have took the initiate and come forward to help India.
