As the surge of Coronavirus almost all the countries have make the restrictions on all travellers arriving inside, some make RT-PCR mandatory and some make quarantine facility for the time decided by the Government. 

Abu Dhabi also require the travellers to remain in quarantine for 10 days but Officials is now planning to ends the quarantine for all international travellers arriving in Abu Dhabi from July 1, 2021.

Ali Al Shaiba, Executive Director of Tourism and Marketing, DCT Abu Dhabi, "It will be similar to the Dubai system – the PCR protocol will be different from high-risk to low-risk destinations, Quarantine will not be an option"

As of now, all travellers who have completed the process of vaccination arriving from ‘Green List’ countries must take an RT-PCR test on arrival and on day 6, without the need to quarantine.

Vaccinated travelers arriving from other then ‘Green List’ countries must take an RT-PCR test on arrival, quarantine for five days, and take another PCR test on day 4.

Shaiba also said that, "We are also announcing an extended green list – this green list will cover a majority of the markets that we are tapping into"

Countries under the ‘Green List’ of Abu Dhabi are Australia, Bhutan, Brunei, China, Cuba, Greenland, Hong Kong (SAR), Iceland, Israel, Japan, Mauritius, Morocco, New Zealand, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan , Tajikistan, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan.
