In the wake of coronavirus Goa Govt decided to put the strict lockdown which starts from today May 9 till May 23, 2021.The decision was made after seeing the hike in the cases by the Goa Ministry and also in this lockdown outsiders will not allowed to enter in the state in any of the condition. Only the vehicles with essential services will be allowed to enter in the state during this lockdown period.
The ministry of Goa also announced that while entering in the state it is also mandatory for the travellers coming from other states to show the negative RT-PCR report or the certificate of vaccination otherwise the entry will be restricted.
Goa Curfew Guidelines
1) Essential services will be allowed to open between 7 am to 1 pm
2) Medical stores are allowed to open in curfew.
3) Restaurant will be allowed to open from 7 am to 7 pm with only take away parcel service.
4) All social, political events, wedding celebrations, large gatherings are banned in state.
5) Public transport is fully closed.
6) Casinos, hotels, pubs will remain closed in this curfew period.
7) Vehicles only with essential services are allowed to enter in the state.
8) The hospital sevices and medical facilities will remain open.
9) Banks, insurance, customs clearance, ATMs, microfinance institutions, etc are allowed to operate freedomly.
10) Complete ban in the activities like Cinema halls, theatres, multiplexes, entertainment zones within the shopping malls, swimming pools.
11) Schools, colleges, educational and coaching institutions will also closed in this period.
