Greece Opens Its Domestic Travelling From May 14, 2021

As to open the tourism sector again in country Greece announced that it will opens its domestic flights by May 14, including the domestic flights Greece also annouced that the museums and cinemas will also opened from the week last.

Greece is in restrictions from last September due to the pendamic of coronavirus but now starts gearing up for the upcoming travellers. Bars and restaurants were opened from last week only for took away service since last year.

Greece's spokeswoman Aristotelia Peloni said, "On May 14, an extremely important step will be taken, both for society and for the economy, with the opening of the tourism sector and the resumption of domestic regional travel,"

Tourism industry is a major source of income for Greece, and the government is hoping that international visitors will help economy in booming, as of now country's economy is still suffering with a financial crisis that saw the country's gross domestic product lesser by quarter.
