Newly Nominated West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today announced that starting from May 07 all passengers coming to Kolkata will require to made a negative coronavirus (RT-PCR test) report not older than 72 hours.
This protocal will applicable on all travellers arriving by airways, railways or by buses.
Cheif Minister Mamta Banerjee said, "Incoming travelers on flights, long-distance trains, and inter-state buses must carry negative RT-PCR test reports"

Officials said that if someone found positive then he/she have to remain in quarantine for 14 days in the government decided institutes.
As of now, Kolkata required RT-PCR from all travellers arriving but till May 06 the negative RT-PCR test rule is only applicable to those who are arriving at Kolkata Airport from Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala & Telangana.
Randoms testings were also be done for the travellers arriving at Bus stations.
