After allowing the first groups of vaccinated tourists to visit Israel, the Israeli health ministry announced that from June 01 all remaining coronavirus restrictions will be lifted in the country.

This announcement is done after evaluating the facts that near about 100 percent of pupulation get vaccinated against COVID-19 and with that only vaccinated travellers will be allowed to enter in the country.

Israel’s daily counts of coronavirus cases has dropped from 8,600 at the peak of the health crisis to just 27 this week, with 510 active infections in whole country.


Starting from June 1, proof of vaccination will no longer be required to enter various venues, and capacity limits at stores, restaurants and other sites will be removed. and no further limits on gatherings, whether they are indoors or outdoors.

Wearing a masks indoors remains in place for the next two weeks, as health officials evaluate whether to remove this norms also.
