Sikkim Announced Night Curfew Till May 16: Check Guidelines

Due to hike in cases of Novel Coronavirus himalayan state Sikkim also announced night curfew till May 16, 2021. Cheif Minister of Sikkim Prem Singh Tamang announced the night curfew to break the chain of transmission in his state.

The night curfew in Sikkim starts from May 6 till May 16, night curfew takes place from 5PM to 9AM everyday.

Sikkim totally ban the movement of private and government vehicles in state, only the army personnel and the vehicles loaded with essential commodities are allowed to enter in the state. 

Normal business activities can be done from 10AM to 4PM till May 16 and on saturday and sunday weekend lockdown is implemented in whole state. Only the shops with essential items, medicals, and milk items are allowed to open during saturday and sunday also.

Himalayan state is also have a hike in Coronavirus infections, with 221 fresh cases were reported. Out of the 221 cases, 171 were reported from East Sikkim, 24 of them were reported in South and West Sikkim combined, while 2 cases were reported from North Sikkim.
