Canada's Minister of Public Safety, Bill Blair confirmed the news and said, Canada is extending the ban on regular international flights until July 21, 2021.
Blair further said that the Canadian government is planning measures for fully vaccinated all Canadians, and others who are currently exempt from restrictions to enter Canada. More information is coming on Monday.
Our number one priority as we fight #COVID19 is keeping Canadians safe. In coordination with the U.S., we are extending restrictions on non-essential international travel and with the United States until July 21st, 2021.

People falling under the following categories are exempted;
- Canadian Nationals.
- Permanent Residents and their family members.
- Work Permit Holders.
- Some International Students, and
- Some Approved Permanent Nationals.
Not only this, some provinces of Canada are closed to each other. Ontario and Quebec this week only opened for non-essential travel between the two provinces. And Atlantic Canada will close in July to Canadians from elsewhere in Canada.
