Himachal Pradesh will no longer require RT-PCR test. Himachal Pradesh Cabinet has decided that there will be no need for RT-PCR tests to enter Himachal Pradesh. According to reports, the corona curfew will remain in place from 5 pm to 5 am.
Meanwhile, it was also decided to extend the timings of the shop, which will now be allowed to remain open from 9 am to 5 pm from June 14. However, shops will remain closed on Saturdays and Sundays under weekend curfew plan.
The cabinet has also decided to remove Section 144, and will allow public transport with 50 per cent occupancy; Section 144 has also been removed. This will facilitate the travel of the local people as well as the passengers.
Further, to promote safe tourism in the Himalayan state, the government has asked hotels to ensure that tourists strictly follow the covid-19 protocols and hygiene guidelines issued by the tourism department and home ministry.
As per the strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) issued by the state government on June 6, gyms and auditoriums, swimming pools located within the hotel premises have been asked to remain closed.
Himachal Pradesh spokesperson, "All medical colleges, ayurvedic colleges and dental colleges will open from June 23. Pharmacy and nursing schools will open from June 28, and now there will be no requirement of RT-PCR negative tests for entering the state."
