Uttarakhand government has announced to extend the covid lockdown for one more week till 6th July, 2021.
Travellers arriving to Uttarakhand from other states will have to register themselves on the Smart City Portal. Meanwhile, it is also mandatory to take negative RT-PCR or rapid antigen test report not older then 72 hours.
The government has given further relaxation this time; Shops have been allowed to remain open six days a week. Also, all commercial establishments in Mussoorie and Nainital have been allowed to remain open during weekends as well.
Updated Guidelines
- Restaurants and hotels will be allowed to open at 50 percent capacity. Roadside eateries can also operate.
- Shops in popular tourist destinations of Mussoorie and Nainital have been allowed to remain open on Sundays. But, all markets will remain closed on Tuesday.
- Gyms in the state have also been allowed to open at 50 percent occupancy.
