The Uttarakhand government on Tuesday extended the covid curfew in the state till June 22, 2021. The current lockdown period in the state was scheduled to end at 6 am on June 15, 2021.
Minister of State Subodh Uniyal said that the old guidelines will remain in force across the state, but with some changes. Meanwhile, in a major relief, residents of Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi have been allowed to visit the Char Dham sites of Badrinath, Kedarnath and Gangotri-Yamunotri respectively.
Uniyal added, "Covid curfew has been extended from June 15 to June 22. Old SOPs to be followed with some changes. People from Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi are now allowed to visit Badrinath, Kedarnath and Gangotri-Yamunotri, respectively, only with a negative RT-PCR report,"

5) Bar will remain closed till further orders.
6) Educational and coaching institutions, cinema halls, shopping malls, stadiums, gyms and restaurants will remain closed during this period.
7) People coming from outside the state will have to register on the smart city portal and submit negative RT-PCR test reports older than 72 hours on arrival.
8) Migrants returning to their villages will have to stay in local quarantine facilities for seven days, after which they can go home depending on their symptoms.
9) Medical shops and testing labs will remain open 24 hours.
