Business Alert; Saudi Arabia Offers 1-Year Multiple Entry Visa For Tourists From 49 Nations; Full List Here

Saudi Arabia has opened its doors to foreign tourists, and has lifted the suspension of entry for tourist visa holders with effect from August 1, 2021.

Tourists from 49 countries can now visit Saudi Arabia for tourism purposes.

The country has been simplified to obtain multiple-entry electronic visas for a period of one year, allowing tourists to spend up to 90 days in the Kingdom.

Full vaccinated with one of the vaccines approved in the Kingdom in the Terms and Conditions for obtaining a tourist visa and entering the State, other than a negative PCR test conducted within 72 hours from the time of departure and registration in the Mukeem portal.

Tourists from below countries can visit Saudi Arabia

Andorra, Hungary, Oceania, Australia, Iceland, Poland, Austria, Ireland, Portugal, Belgium, Italy, Romania, Brunei, Japan, Russia, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, San Marino, Canada, Latvia, San Marino, China (Hong Kong, Macau), Liechtenstein, Singapore, Croatia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Cyprus, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Malaysia, South Korea, Denmark, Malta, Spain, Estonia, Monaco, Switzerland, Finland, Montenegro, Ukraine, France, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Germany, New Zealand, United States of America, Greece, Norway.

Travel Requirements

Tourists to the Kingdom are also required to register their data relating to vaccination doses on the new electronic portal https://muqeem.sa/#/vaccine-registration/home, the ministry said in a statement, adding that the data also through The application has been entered and is required to be shown to enter public places.

To accommodate travellers, the Kingdom has upgraded the Tawakkalna application, allowing temporary visitors to register with their passport details.

The app is required for entry into both public and private entities as well as many public places in the Kingdom including shopping malls, cinemas, restaurants and entertainment venues.

According to the statement, those fully vaccinated are those who have received two doses of the vaccine approved in Saudi Arabia;
