Directorate General of Civil Aviation on Monday announced that passenger flights between Kuwait and India will resume on Tuesday, 07 September 2021.
Kuwait suspended all direct international flights from India on 24 April amid the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic in India.
Last month DGCA Kuwait announced that it would resume commercial flight operations with 6 countries including India, Egypt, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal, but did not give any time frame for this.

India-Kuwat Travel Guidelines
- Persons who exited the State of Kuwait on/after 01 September 2019 are allowed to enter Kuwait, provided they hold a valid residence permit/visa.
- Persons exiting the State of Kuwait on/before August 31, 2019, are not permitted to enter the State of Kuwait, even if the traveler has a valid residence.
