United Arab Emirates announced that it will resume issuing tourist visas to fully vaccinated travellers from all countries from August 30, 2021.
The announcement has been made at Expo 2020 in Dubai, which will begin on October 1, 2021
From here Approval From GDRFA or ICA not Required
UAE residents can now travel to Dubai without prior approval from the GDRFA or ICA, which were previously required to allow for such visas except for travelers arriving from 10 Asian and African countries.
Emirates Airline stated that residents traveling from the countries listed below must obtain approval from the GDRFA and ICA before flying to the United Arab Emirates;
- Bangladesh
- India
- Indonesia
- Nigeria
- Pakistan
- South Africa
- Sri Lanka
- Uganda
- Vietnam and
- Zambia
How to apply for UAE Tourist Visa ?
It is worth noting that at present this service is only available for Emirates Airlines and Flydubai customers.
