In breaking news, China has locked 33863 visitors inside Shanghai Disneyland Park after a visitor tested positive. The incident took place on Sunday in which every visitor was forced to undergo a COVID test after a customer was found positive.

Park officials later announced that they had suspended the park for two days "in order to cooperate with the investigation of the epidemic in other provinces and cities". Along with this, the Chinese government wants to show how serious it is about implementing its zero tolerance epidemic prevention strategy.

One person who tested positive is from nearby Hangzhou city. According to local media, the man went to Disneyland on Saturday and on Sunday evening Shanghai Disneyland announced that they were no longer accepting any visitors. Soon after, the park's doors were locked and city health workers and police rushed to the scene and conducted mass tests.

On Sunday night, the process of investigation went on for hours and thousands of spectators were trapped in the park. They waited for their numbers to get negative test results so they could leave the park. While the fireworks continued, the visitors waited for their test results.

Those whose results have come back negative will be asked to get tested again during the next 14 days. Chinese leaders have taken some strict steps to stop this virus in the country.
