Srinagar Airport Will Remain Closed For Flight Operations For 2 Months; Check Why...?

Srinagar Airport has recently closed all its evening flight operations for next 2 months. Evening flight has been suspended from Srinagar and Jammu. The reason behind this closure is the polymer modified emulsion work on the runway which which starts from February and will last till march 2022.

Let us inform that no renovation work was done at Srinagar airport for a long time and now there was a problem while landing the incoming flights at the airport, so the Srinagar Airport authority has started the renovation work to avoid any future mishappening.

 Kuldeep Singh, Director, Airport Authority of India, Srinagar Airport said, "We will ensure that the flight disruption is reduced to minimum by working only from 5 PM to 6 AM during the night time. The runway will be available and the flights will be operated from 6 AM to 5 PM."

For this information, the airport authority of Srinagar has informed all the airlines to inform their flight schedules to the customer or traveller so that their travel does not get confused, due to which all airlines have updated their passengers that evening flight. friday saturday and sunday is canceled and they will now fly during the day.
