Bahrain has updated its entry procedures for international travelers arriving or departing from Bahrain. As per the new update, passengers traveling to Bahrain are no longer required to show a negative RT-PCR test before their departure.
They will still have to undergo a mandatory COVID-19 test upon arrival at Bahrain International Airport.
These new entry procedures have come into effect at 12 a.m. on Friday, 4 February 2022, and are applicable to all travelers arriving in the Kingdom of Bahrain who are 6 years of age and older.

Recently cured passengers (age 6 years and above) are not required to submit a negative PCR test prior to departure. In lieu of a negative PCR test, passengers who have recently recovered from a COVID-19 infection can submit documentary evidence in the form of a recovery certificate or a positive PCR test, which will last 14 days from departure. Has been taken not earlier than and not earlier than 30 days. Travelers who are vaccinated in Bahrain are considered fully vaccinated if they have a green shield on the Be Aware application.

Travelers who have not been vaccinated in Bahrain are considered to be fully vaccinated if they have completed 14 days after administration of the second dose in a two-dose vaccination series or if they have received a single dose for single-dose vaccines. Have completed 14 days after administration, and present valid proof of vaccination.
Passengers can submit payment upon arrival at one of the designated payment kiosks in the airport terminal, with both card and cash being accepted at the payment kiosk.
