World Tourism and Travel Council advises all countries to lift all travel restrictions on international arrivals to ease the travel globally.
The remaining coronavirus restrictions had caused severe damage to the overall economy. For this reason, it is highlighted once again that the measures should be abolished.
IATA and ACI Europe recently called on the government to drop the remaining requirements being implemented for travel within the EU.
EU urged governments to allow restriction-free movement of passengers by removing the requirement to present vaccination or recovery certificates. In addition, two aviation groups have emphasized that responsible EU authorities should no longer require passengers to submit a negative RT-PCR test result or complete a passenger locator form.
IATA and ACI's call for lifting of travel restrictions follows improvement in the COVID-19 situation. According to these two, EU countries should lift their travel measures as the virus no longer causes serious health effects or a high number of hospitalizations.
