Thailand is now slowly opening after being closed for 24 consecutive months due to Corona virus. Let us tell you that since November, Thailand has been opened for international travelers but with strict rules.

It is being reported from the sources that Thailand is soon going to do away with the need of Test and Go Program and Thailand Pass, due to which the travelers coming from it will be able to complete their journey without any hassle.

This issue will be raised in the upcoming Thailand Tourism Authority meeting on 22 April, if it is approved, then the test and go program and the requirement of Thailand pass will end from 1 May 2022.

Along with the change of new rules, news is also coming that travelers coming to Thailand will eliminate RT PCR test and do antigen test.

Minister of Tourism and Sports, Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn says that if the amendments are approved then passengers will have to undergo antigen test instead of RT-PCR test at the airport and arriving passengers will not being required to stay for one in SHA-approved hotel.

Travelers coming now have to wait for 3 to 5 days for Thailand Pass registration and on their arrival they have to undergo PCR test for which they will have to show one day booking in SHA approved hotel.

Whats Tourism Professionals Demands ?

Thailand Board of Trade and Thailand Tourist Authority and more than 100 tourist professionals
have said that the need for RT-PCR test and Thailand pass on incoming passengers should be eliminated, so that more and more travelers coming back to Thailand.

After all this, let us tell you that these rule has not been implemented yet, if it is implemented then you can enter Thailand without any problem and can roam anywhere with having Visa on Arrival.
