Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced in an official release that it has not imposed any COVID-related restrictions on international travelers to the country.

TAT also stated that since Thailand has fully reopened and international visitors to Thailand are no longer required to provide proof of vaccination or ATK test results, Indians entering Thailand from October 1, 2022 No restrictions will be imposed on visitors.

The tourism authority also said that in order to ensure the safety of tourists, they will closely monitor any changes or keep updating COVID-19 protocol measures that may affect Indian visitors to Thailand.

Restrictions for passengers coming to India from Thailand

The Tourism Authority of Thailand has urged all passengers returning to India to undergo RT-PCR tests within 72 hours of departure and upload the results on the Air Suvidha website.

Notably, in response to the increasing number of COVID cases in other countries, the Indian government has updated guidelines for visitors entering the country and for visitors from Thailand and five other Asian countries, including China, Hong Kong, South -PCR test has been made mandatory. Korea, Japan and Singapore starting on January 1, 2023.

All passengers from these countries will have to upload their reports on the Air Suvidha portal before travel. The Tourism Authority of Thailand also said that COVID-19 testing facilities are widely available and readily available in Thailand.

Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has emphasized that all tourism-related and commercial services in the country are fully operational and tourism is back to normal with no restrictions on travel within the country.
